Housing and Disability Advocacy Program
California Department of Social Services
HDAP assists people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and who are likely eligible for disability benefits. CDSS says the program combines outreach, case management, benefits advocacy, and housing assistance. Counties and tribal agencies run it. As of the 2023-24 year, CDSS said 56 counties and 17 tribal agencies were taking part. Ask locally if that includes you.
