About Lizzy

Hello my people! I'm Lizzy O, a wife, a mom of two, sharing life, love and joy on wheels.

I live with a spinal cord injury. My wheelchair is a part of my story, but it does not define the entire book. Life goes on, and mine is full: my husband, our two children, a new home, travel, style, and a lot of laughing at the chaos. I've learned that independence and asking for help can live side by side, and that my joy comes from God and from community.

Over the years I've shared the real stuff too, like transfers, adaptive driving and accessible travel, because finding answers shouldn't be this hard. That's why I started Disability Help Finder: a free place where newly disabled people, longtime disabled people and caregivers can find resources that actually help.
