Choose a state. California and Texas open a full guide. Every other state opens national steps you can use today.
About Lizzy
Hi, I'm Lizzy O, a wife, a mom of two, and a woman living life on wheels after a spinal cord injury. My wheelchair is a part of my story, but it does not define the entire book. I started Disability Help Finder so that anyone who is newly disabled, has been disabled for years, or is caring for someone they love can find real help in one free, friendly place.
Already open for every state
Equipment
State programs that loan or help you find devices. Not a store, and not a prescription.
See equipment helpGetting around
National help for accessible rides and for airport screening. City paratransit still lives with your local transit agency.
See getting aroundEncouragement
A short note, then places to find people who have lived this.

How a listing works
Every listing names the public page we opened. We use government sites and named nonprofits only.
Every listing says October 14, 2026, the day we checked it in Pacific time.
Then it gives one clear action, such as calling a local office or opening the application page. We do not decide eligibility.
